Mountain Vista School holds 15th annual science fair

  Each year Mountain Vista students participate in a district wide science fair.  On Thursday, Dec. 7, parents, students, and community members came to view projects, have barbeque dinner, and attend the awards ceremony.

  The following students were given awards for their winning projects:  Pre-K – Kindergarten class award went to Chantel Sloan’s kindergarten class, First – Third grade class award went to Amy McDonald’s First grade class. 

Fourth grade (group projects):

Gracie Brenton, Danica Powell, Kynzie Parkhurst, Chad Martinez

• 1st place–Gracie Brenton, Danica Powell, Kynzie Parkhurst, Chad Martinez;

• 2nd place–Crucito Lopez, Jon Thompson, Erick Velasquez, Landon Croci, Payton Gonzalez;

• 3rd place–Mylee Hendrix, Marilena Davila, Esteban Davila, Emily Collins;

• 4th place–Cooper Dale, Zander Heatherly, Gabriella Henneman, Aiden Lancaster, Samuel Freeman;

• 5th place- Otto Johnson, Zachary Bryant, Samico Salazar

Fifth grade: 

Emma Rios

• 1st place–Emma Rios;

• 2nd place–(tie) Brayden Cannon, Jerry Michael Miller;

• 3rd place–Shayna Parra;

• 4th place–Daisy Gastelum;

• 5th place–(partner project) Anthony Stanford, Israel Gonzalez

Sixth grade: 

Emma Westbrook

• 2nd place–Ayanna Ruiz;

• 3rd place–Veronica Gomez;

• 4th place–Taylor Bigham;

• 5th place–Raelynn Herbert

Seventh grade:

Eighth grade:
