Mountain Vista Lady Cougars volleyball

The Mountain Vista Lady Cougars eighth grade volleyball team went undefeated during the regular season this year.

They had many hard fought games throughout the year. It was no different in the Central Junior High League Tournament held at the Kearny Junior High gym last Saturday. The first place seed Lady Cougars battled the fourth seed Eloy Blue Devils to the final game losing a heartbreaker 25 – 23.

The sixth and seventh grade Lady Cougars made it to the tournament this year but lost in the first round to Ray. This team had 30 energetic girls constantly working hard for playing time.

The Central Junior High League tournament was won by The San Carlos Lady Braves. The Eloy Lady Blue Devils finished second.
