Miracle on Main Street just around the corner

The Superior Optimist Club will be recognizing the Superior Red Bear Outfitters as their Community Champion this year. They will be the grand marshals for the annual Miracle on Main Street Parade to be held on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013. The event festivities will begin at 3 p.m. on Main Street and the parade will begin at 7 p.m. Baile Folklorico Alma de Superior will be performing at 3 p.m. Following the parade Santa will be visiting with children at the Besich Park Gazebo.

Several student groups will be selling food and drinks so bring your wallets and enjoy some holiday treats. The Superior Little League will be selling hamburgers, the Junior Class will be selling hot dogs, pretzels, nachos and both hot and cold drinks, and the Sophomore class will be selling baked goods and popcorn. Any other local youth groups wishing to sell items at the event should contact the Superior Optimist Club.
