Minnie Ordorica, 78, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at Holly Home in Globe, Arizona. She was born in Miami, Arizona on July 23, 1934, the daughter of Bessie (Ramirez) and Alfredo T. Ordorica. Minnie lost her mother Bessie as a small child and was lovingly raised by Alfredo’s second wife, Maria Luisa De Alba Ordorica.
Minnie was an active member of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament in Miami, Arizona. She loved cleaning, collecting her many knickknacks and Santa Claus. Minnie had a huge heart and would help anyone in need.
She was preceded in death by her parents Bessie, Alfredo and Maria Luisa Ordorica, sister Toni Tryon and brother Gabriel Ordorica.
Minnie leaves behind in loving memory four brothers, Freddie Ordorica and his wife Betty of Mammoth, John “Jimmy” Ordorica of Apache Junction, Frank Ordorica of Miami and Albert “Mike” Ordorica and his wife Jenni; two sisters, Mary Salcido and her husband Ralph of Globe, and Sylvia Baca and her husband William of Miami; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
Funeral services for Minnie will begin with visitation at 9 a.m., Rosary at 9:30 a.m. and the Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 18, at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, 844 W. Sullivan St., Miami. Interment will follow at Globe Cemetery, Hackney Avenue, Globe.
Funeral arrangements for Minnie Ordorica were entrusted to Miles Funeral Services Globe.
