Minnie Huerta, 69, of Kearny, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on March 6, 2018.
Minnie was born on Oct. 1, 1948 in Ray, AZ to Francisco and Elvira Ortega. Minnie was a graduate of Hayden High School class of 1967. She married Frank C. Huerta on July 26, 1969. They made their home in Kearny, AZ to care for their three children.
Minnie enjoyed her life of caring for her family, especially all her grandchildren, and watching the Steelers and Dbacks play ball. She is preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Elvira Ortega. She is survived by her husband, Frank (Zachary) Huerta; children, Frank (Cathy), Annette, and Melissa; grandchildren, Selina, Elena, Elicia, Pancho, Danielle, Jacob, Makayla, Mia, and Gabriella; and great-grandchildren, Julio and Isabella.
A memorial mass will be celebrated in her honor at Infant Jesus of Prague Catholic Church in Kearny, AZ on Friday, March 16, 2018. Rosary will begin at 10 a.m. and Mass at 10:30 with Monsignor Raul Trevizo officiating. Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery in Hayden, AZ immediately following the services.
