Miners football season starts Friday

San Manuel Miner

The Miners will open their 2014 season this Friday under new head coach David Ward. They’ll travel to Thatcher trying to avenge a 34 – 0 season opening loss to the Eagles last year. The game will be broadcast live on 1230 AM KATO radio. A link to the radio broadcast can be found at https://network1sports.com. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

Andy is scheduled to complete his degree December 2014. He was born and raised in Des Plaines, Ill. In 1992, he relocated to Arizona. After a short return to Des Plaines in 1997, he returned to the Phoenix area two years later. He and his wife, Kelli, have three sons – AJ, Kyle, and Kade.
