The San Manuel baseball team made quick work of GCA in a 14 – 4 mercy-rule victory last Wednesday. The win was the Miners’ fourth of the season.
Sophomores Ceazar Guerrero and Javy Tamayo each had two hits in the win. Louis Chavez, Jesse Apodaca and Alejandro Camacho had a hit apiece.
The Miners had seven steals against the Spartans, which assisted in the high-scoring victory.
On the mound, Guerrero, Tamayo and AJ Castillo combined to allow four earned runs on three hits.
