Memorial softball tournament to be held

Get your bats and gloves out. It’s time to play ball. Sign up for the tournament and help out a great cause.

The families of Eddie Longoria and Joe Castaneda will be hosting a co-ed softball tournament on Saturday, February 21 and Sunday, February 22. The tournament will be held at Pioneer Park in Kearny. Registration is $175 per team. Both Longoria and Casataneda were loved members of the community and were well known for their love of sports, the tournament is hosted each year to honor their memory. Funds raised from the tournament are donated to the athletic department at Superior High School and the Superior and Kearny Little Leagues.
