Mary Maldonado

, 85, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015.

She was born May 25, 1931, in Solomon, Arizona, the daughter of the late Julian and Adelina Peru. Mary was one of nine children. On Jan. 26, 1947, she married Rafael Maldonado in Solomon, Arizona. They later settled in Oracle where they raised their four children.

She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.

Mary is survived by her children, Yolanda (Pablo) Medina and Daniel (Tessie) Maldonado; 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; her sisters, Rosa Jimenez and Celia Gonzales; and her brothers, Raymundo, Raul and Francisco Peru.

She was preceded in death by her dearest husband Rafael; her sons, Ralph and Louie; her parents, Julian and Adelina; her sisters, Consuelo and Andrea; and her brother Julian.

Mary was greatly loved by family and friends and will be missed, but not forgotten.

Funeral services will be held on Nov. 20, 2015 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church located at 120 W. Church Dr. in Mammoth. Viewing begins at 9:00 AM and mass at 10:00 AM with Father Walter Balduck officiating. Burial will follow at Oracle Cemetery, and luncheon at the Oracle Community Center. Vistoso Funeral Home is handling the funeral arrangements.
