Mary Louise Quiroz

  Mary Louise Quiroz, 96, of Kearny, AZ (resided with granddaughters Yvette Fernandez and Yvonne Dominguez in Mesa, AZ) passed away on Feb. 16, 2017. 

  She was born to Manuel and Delfina Duarte on Jan. 14, 1921 in Phoenix, AZ. 

  Mary was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and tia. She married the love of her life, Francisco M. Quiroz, on June 24, 1941. Mary Louise and Frank started their family in the small mining town of Sonora, AZ later moving to Kearny where they raised their five children. Mary Louise devoted her life to her husband, children, grandchildren, and her beloved Anna Maria. She loved to cook for family and friends and was a devoted advocate for all children with special needs. Anyone who came across Mary Louise just absolutely loved her. 

  She was a cherished wife and the greatest mother to Frank (Catalina) Quiroz, Yolanda (Rudy) Pulido, Bobby (Gloria) Quiroz, Tommy (Kathy-deceased) Quiroz, and Anna Maria Quiroz. She is also survived by her sister Eva Morales, 15 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren. 

  Arrangements are entrusted to Chapel of the Roses. A rosary service and visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 24, from 5-8 p.m. at Mariposa Cemetery Chapel, 400 S Power Rd., Mesa, AZ 85206. Funeral Mass will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in Kearny at Infant Jesus of Prague Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Mesa, Arizona.
