, 61, passed away in Mesa on March 16, 2015, from cardiac arrest, after a long battle with illness.
Mary is survived by her love, Richard Hobbs; parents: Pedro and Elizabeth Yanez; children: Jennifer Leah (Carlos) Suarez , and Justin Aaron (Kerri) Hune; grandchildren: Joshua Johnson, Jason Suarez, Jakob Suarez, Jaeden Suarez, Jordan Hune, Miles Matthew and Mason; sisters: Anna (Edward) Garcia, Patricia Placenio, Janette (Sonny) Cruz, Liza (Howard) Clark, and Jeannie Casteneda; 16 nephews and nieces; and 18 great-nephews and nieces.
Mary graduated from Hayden High School in 1971, going on to attend Central Arizona College. She worked for Kennecott Copper Corporation and Hobart Industrial Supply. She loved crafting, jewelry dolls, pottery and flowers.
Mary had a gypsy soul and a warrior spirit, and, made no apologies for her wild heart. She left normal and regular to explore the outskirts of magical and extraordinary; and she was glorious.
Services were held in Mesa on March 23.
