Mary was a devoted Catholic who was actively involved with her church, St. Mary’s Parrish.
Mary was an RN of 44 years and even after retirement she was still a caregiver to her family and friends and to anyone she encountered.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred M. Marquez.
Mary is survived by her six children, Ronald (Ophelia) Marquez of Glendale, Kathleen (Thomas) Schmitt of Queen Creek, Nancy (Rod) Dalton of Silver City, NM, M.Patty (Mike) Gambee of Queen Creek, Eugene R. (Traci) Marquez of Chandler and Jennifer (Dave) Larson of Maricopa, 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren and brother Clary P. (Dottie) Barrett Jr. of Portland, OR.
Visitation and Rosary were held Tuesday, March 11. will be held 6-8 pm on Tuesday (TODAY) Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 12, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 230 W. Galveston St. Chandler, AZ 85225.
