Man shoots himself in Globe emergency room

A man took his own life on Jan. 4, 2013 after entering the emergency room lobby of Cobre Valley Regional Medical in Globe with a gun.

Globe Police reported a call at 5:07 p.m. saying the man sat outside the main entrance of the emergency room with a gun and died from a self-inflicted firing wound.

There were no other injuries or fatalities at the medical center. A police investigation is still under way.
