The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. April 2
A call came in of a possible burglary on Catalina Street. Reporting party said that she had water on her kitchen and wash room floor and believes someone may have come in and flooded her house. Officer responded. There was no sign of forced entry.
A bus was reported on fire on Veteran’s Memorial Highway just south of Highway 77. San Manuel Fire Department was dispatched and engines 681 and 682 responded to extinguish the fire.
April 3
Child custody complaint was filed. Reporting party went to pick up kids at pre-arranged day and time. When he arrived kids were not there. They had gone out of town with their mother.
April 4
A report of a strong gas odor and possible leak in a home on Tiger Drive was received. Fire Department responded. Southwest Gas was notified and arrived at the scene.
April 5
Received a report of a loud bang that was possibly an explosion or a gun shot near Hayden Ave. Officer responded and searched the area with negative results.
An accident with injuries was reported at milepost 106 on Hwy. 77. RES681 responded to the single vehicle rollover accident. Injured party transported to University Medical Center by ambulance.
Received a report of a burglar alarm going off at the meat market on Highway 77. Officer responded. Appeared to be a false alarm. Owner of the business arrived. Alarm was reset.
Other calls not reported include: fingerprints (2), loud music (2), welfare check (1), medical assists (13) and 911 hang-up (1).
