Major leads Superior in win against Hayden

Superior Panthers

  Superior junior Kale Major scored a game-high 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds in the Panthers’ 34 – 30 victory against Hayden on Jan. 9.

  The win snapped Superior’s three-game skid.

  Gabriel Garcia, a junior, finished with eight points to go along with four rebounds and a steal. Freshman Dominic Hernandez had five points and a game-high nine rebounds. Cedric Mendoza added eight rebounds, an assist and a steal.

Up next:  Jan. 23 vs. North Phoenix Prep., 7 p.m.
