Madeline Marina Navarrette, 71, went home to receive her crown of glory on Jan. 22, 2014. She was born Oct. 11, 1942.

She is survived by her husband, Simon Navarrette Sr.; children, Rita (John) Rider, John (Michelle) Perez, Valentina (Mark) Schall, Tom Navarrette, Simon Navarrette Jr., Audrey (John) Smith, John Navarrette, Lena (Joe) Crandell, Israel Navarrette, Hope Navarrette and Marsha (Danny) Casselberry; 30 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at 4:30 p.m. at First Assembly of God Church, 1749 E. Broadway Blvd., Tucson, AZ 85719.
