Lucila P. Lerma

  Lucila P. Lerma was born on June 29, 1938 to Aurora and A.C. Padilla in Belen, NM and died Sept. 10, 2018 at her home in Eagar, AZ. 

  She grew up in McNary, AZ and that’s where she met her husband Alfonso. After a brief time in California, together they made their way to Dudleyville, AZ where they chose to make their home and raise their six children.  

  Lucila is survived by her husband, Alfonso; sons, Michael and Ramon; and daughters, Eileen Mladineo, Maxine Stamey, Paula Neiswonger, Joanne Lerma; 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.  Lucila is also survived by her sisters Annie Castillo, Crucita Sedillo and numerous nieces and nephews. 

  Services were held on Friday, Sept. 15, 2018 at Infant Jesus of Prague Parish in Kearny, AZ. She was laid to rest in Kearny Cemetery.
