He is survived by his wife Vada, who he was married to for 53 years, and his daughter, Mona (Dennis). He is also survived by four sons: Tony (Virginia), David (Lynette), Eddie (Anna) and Philip. He retired from ASARCO after working there for 35 years and enjoyed a long retirement. He was well known for not only his love for horses but for training and breaking them. Team roping was his passion and he rarely missed an opportunity to load up his horse and head to wherever the next one was. In his later years he enjoyed his daily routine of going to the corrals to feed and water and spending time with his grandkids. His life was filled with many experiences about the cowboy way of living and he loved every minute of it.

Dad, we will miss you very much and we thank you that, even though it may have been difficult at times, you have helped us to learn how to be strong and stick together as a family. We will never forget you and we love you very much.
