Lopez graduates from Warrant Officer Candidate School

Anthony “Tiger” Lopez Jr.

  Anthony “Tiger” Lopez Jr., a member of the San Manuel High class of 2009, recently graduated from the U.S. Army Warrant Officer Candidate School (WOCS) at Ft. Rucker, AL. He is the son of Anthony Lopez Sr. and Maria Lopez of San Manuel.

  Mr. Lopez, as he will be addressed, will next attend flight school also at Ft. Rucker to become a Rotary Wing Aviator (attack helicopter pilot). He will train to fly the Army’s OH-58 Kiowa, CH-47 Chinook, UH-60 Black Hawk, and AH-64E Apache Guardian helicopters.
