The Hayden boys’ basketball team had a rough start to the 2014-15 season, losing to Morenci in the season opener for both teams, 64 – 19.

The Wildcats outscored the Lobos by at least 10 points in every quarter, including the fourth quarter where the Lobos scored only two points.

The schedule doesn’t get any easier for Lobos, who play five-straight road games to start the season. Their first home game is Dec. 19 against San Manuel.

After a road game at San Manuel on Dec. 3, Hayden will play at Tohono O’Odham on Dec. 9 and at Duncan on Dec. 11.

All games are scheduled for 7 p.m.
