The Hayden softball team hosted its 23rd Annual Softball Tournament last weekend. The 2013 Division IV State Champion San Manuel Miners won the tournament championship by beating Douglas, 3 – 2.

The Lobos defeated San Tan Foothills in their final game of tournament play, 8 – 7.

The Lobos will play at Superior on April 2 before playing their next game on April 8 vs Ft. Thomas. Both games begin at 4:00 p.m.

After a short return to Des Plaines in 1997, he returned to the Phoenix area two years later. He and his wife, Kelli, have three sons – AJ, Kyle, and Kade.
