Letters to Santa

Hailey Whitlatch was the first in line to mail her Christmas wishes to Santa via the special box located inside the San Manuel Miner office. Letters can be mailed at the Miner office or slipped through the slot in the door if the office is closed.

Don’t live in San Manuel? No worries. Mailboxes are available in Mammoth at the Mammoth Public Library and in Oracle at the Oracle Market.

Santa has also set up a special email address if you want to send your wishes to him electronically. The email address is santa@minersunbasin.com.

When emailing please include the town where you live so that your letter can be published in the right newspaper. Hurry and get your letters in quick so they can be forwarded to the North Pole in plenty of time for the big day.

Hailey is four years old and has asked Santa for a baby stroller and swing for her baby doll, a playhouse and some balloons.

She is the daughter of Tanya Castillo of San Manuel and Doug Whitlatch of Tucson. (Jennifer Carnes photo)
