by The No. 2-seeded Superior softball team opened the 2017 1A State Championship Tournament with a convincing 10 – 0 victory against No. 15-seed St. Michael last Friday.
With the win, the Lady Panthers advanced to the tournament’s second round, where they’ll take on No. 7-seed Bagdad. That game is scheduled for Friday, May 5 at the Rose Mofford Sports Complex. First pitch is at 7 p.m.
