The San Manuel softball team dropped both games it played last Saturday. The Miners were defeated by Mohave in the first game, 9 – 1. They fell in the second game to Flagstaff, 10 – 6.
The Miners started the week looking like the defending state champion by trouncing Imagine Prep Coolidge, 23 – 0. The week ended, however, on a different note.
Like the baseball team, the Miners played Hayden on March 11 before playing Tombstone on March 17 (2 p.m.) and at Hayden on March 18 (4 p.m.).
