The ninth-ranked Ray Lady Cats volleyball team extended its winning streak to 11 matches last week, defeating Valley Union, 3 – 1 (25-17, 26-24, 20-25, 25-16), and avenging its only loss to date, which came against the Blue Devils. On the next day, tenth-ranked St. Johns snapped the winning streak, sweeping the Lady Cats, 3 – 0 (25-23, 25-22, 25-18).

The Lady Cats have four matches remaining in the regular season with only one scheduled this week, on Thursday at home versus Ft. Thomas. The Lady Cats defeated the Apaches on September 11, 3 – 0.
