The fourth-ranked Ray Lady Cats volleyball team extended its winning streak to eight games last week, defeating Gilbert Classical Academy (3 – 2), Cibecue (3 – 0), and Superior (3 – 1).
In last Thursday’s win against Superior (25-19, 25-19, 23-25, 25-15), the Lady Cats were led by Stormee Galka, Sabrina Martinez, and Elissa Rodriguez who combined for 28 of the Lady Cats’ 34 kills in the match.
Martinez (22) and junior Sidney Chenoweth (14) combined for 36 service points.
Rodriguez and Brittany Patton each had two blocks in the match. Galka had a team-high 16 digs.
The Lady Cats host Hayden this Thursday at 5:00 p.m.
