The Knights of Columbus will offer a dinner of three tacos, rice and beans for $7 this Friday at Blessed Sacrament hall in Mammoth from 4 pm to 7 pm to benefit People with Intellectual Disabilities. Take out is available.
“The Knights of Columbus is one of the largest contributors to Special Olympics in the state and nation,” said local Grand Knight Jerry Bribiescas.
“We can also designate our funds to local special education programs in the schools,” he added.
“People may have seen Knights of Columbus giving away Tootsie Rolls outside stores in Tucson and Catalina as their PID drive. Since we don’t have a Fry’s or Bashas’ or WalMart or Walgreens, we are offering a dinner to raise PID funds,” Bribiescas said.
