Kearny’s Yard of the Month for July is 321 Croydon, the home of Dusty Mitchell. She retired to Kearny to pursue her love of art, and her yard is a kaleidoscope of colored gravels, tinged barks, and the natural green of desert vegetation. It’s a structured desert, and it complements the bright colors of her home. It has taken her five years to transform the yard with massive mescals and variegated yuccas. Congratulations, Dusty.
