Kearny Police Report – September 12, 2018

  According to state law, there are two methods by which police may arrest suspected offenders. The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Only criminal citations are listed. All damages are estimates.

Sept. 2

  Nathan Apodaca, 38, was arrested in the 300 block of Alden Rd. and was charged with driving on a suspended license. He was cited and released.

  Theft was reported in the 300 block of Hartford Rd.

Sept. 4

  An accident without injuries was reported in the 100 block of Williams Lane.

  Forgery was reported in the 300 block of Alden Rd.

Sept. 8

  An injured dog was reported in the 500 block of Mountain View Circle.

  Theft of a license plate was reported in the 200 block of Ivanhoe Rd.

Calls not listed include: ambulance request (16), traffic stop (34), citizen/motorist assist (5), suspicious activity (3), agency assist (2), welfare check (1), animal/cattle complaint (3), 911 open line/hang up (1), found property (1), civil matter (1), disturbance (1), information (1), alarm drop (1) vacation house check (1), attempt to locate (10 and juvenile problem/curfew violation (2).
