The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. Preston Ray Mariscal, 26, was arrested in the 400 block of Fairhaven Rd. on a failure to appear warrant. He was brought before Judge Dave Orzell and released.

A vehicle was reported parked on the sidewalk. The owner was issued a citation for obstructing a sidewalk.
