Kearny Police Report –June 10, 2020

  According to state law, there are two methods by which police may arrest suspected offenders. The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Only criminal citations are listed. All damages are estimates.

  Activity listed May 24 through June 6.
May 26
  A stolen vehicle was recovered on Mountain View Circle.
May 29
  An accident was reported on the 300 block of Alden Rd. No injury was reported.
May 31
  Two juveniles were arrested at Hwy. 177 at milepost 145. One youth was arrested for possession of marijuana and the other for possession of a tobacco vape device.

June 5
  Carlos R. Galvan, 45, was arrested on the 300 block of Alden Rd for driving while suspended. He was cited and released.

  Calls not listed include:  traffic (31), suspicious activity (5), citizen assist (2), animal/cattle complaint (3), found property (4), ambulance request (14), fire call (3), agency assist (4), parking violation (1), extra patrol (1) and motorist assist (2).
