According to state law, there are two methods by which police may arrest suspected offenders. The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. Pablo R. Mariscal, 30, was arrested in the 400 block of Fairhaven Rd. on a warrant for probation violation. He was additionally charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail in Florence.
