  According to state law, there are two methods by which police may arrest suspected offenders. The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Only criminal citations are listed. All damages are estimates.

April 3

  Sexual assault was reported in the Kearny area.

  Theft was reported in the 900 block of Tilbury Rd.

  An order of protection was served in the 400 block of Ivanhoe Rd.

Calls not listed include: ambulance request (4), traffic stop (18), suspicious activity (2), animal complaint (3), disturbance (2), fire (2), 911 open line (1), juvenile problem (3), vacation house check (1), found/lost property (4), welfare check (1) and citizen/motorist assist (1).
