According to state law, there are two methods by which police may arrest suspected offenders. The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Only criminal citations are listed. All damages are estimates.

Apr. 12

A credit card was found and turned into the police department.

Suspicious activity was reported on the 200 block of Jamestown Circle.

A brush fire near the river was reported. Kearny Fire Department responded.

Apr. 13

Suspicious activity was reported on the 100 block of Hartford.

Suspicious activity was reported on Mountain View Circle.

Suspicious activity was reported on the 300 block of Danbury.

Suspicious activity was reported at the old food bank building.

Apr. 15

Dejah Elise Arceneaux, 19 of Mesa, was arrested for driving on a suspended license. She was cited and released.

Agency assist to Pinal County Sheriff Department with a threatening and intimating incident in Dudleyville.

Apr. 17

A report of endangerment was taken at Ray Schools.

Burglary was reported on the 200 block of Jamestown.

Apr. 18

A verbal warning was issued for dog at large.

Other calls during the week included 12 ambulance runs and 16 information reports.
