Kearny Police Report

According to state law, there are two methods by which police may arrest suspected offenders. The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Only criminal citations are listed. All damages are estimates.

Feb. 22

A verbal warning was issued for a headlight violation.

A citation was issued for dog at large.

Feb. 23

Agency assist to Pinal County on a warrant confirmation.

Cattle were reported near the Kearny Cemetery. Owner was contacted.

Agency assist to Hayden Police Department with a search warrant.

Citizen’s assist with a fingerprinting request.

Feb. 25

A welfare check was requested on Allen Dr.

During a routine building check, an open door to a storage unit was discovered at a vacant residence on 200 block of Hartford.

Agency assist to DPS with accident on Highway 177.

An open door was discovered on Alden Rd.

Feb. 26

Ryan Anthony Chiquete, 25 of Kearny, was arrested on two warrants out of Kearny. He was arraigned and released.

Previously reported stolen items were recovered.

Burglary was reported on the 400 block of Ivanhoe.

A verbal warning was issued for a motorcycle muffler violation.

Agency assist to Hayden Police Department with an incidence on the 200 block of E 2nd St. in Hayden.

Citizen’s assist with information concerning court ordered documents.

Feb. 27

Citizen assist with a fingerprinting request.

Feb. 28

Aaron Kent Goodridge, 32 of Kearny, was arrested for assault/domestic violence and also on an outstanding warrant. He was transported to Florence and booked into the Pinal County Adult Center.

Other calls included eight ambulance runs and five information reports.
