Kearny Police Report

According to state law, there are two methods by which police may arrest suspected offenders. The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Only criminal citations are listed. All damages are estimates.

Feb. 15

A verbal warning was issued for an equipment violation.

Written warnings were issued for a license plate light violation and speed.

A noise disturbance was reported on the 400 block of Ivanhoe.

Feb. 16

Three verbal warnings were issued for license plate light violations.

A written warning was issued for speed.

During a routine check, a light was found on in the Kearny Golf Course Clubhouse. Doors and windows were secure.

Feb. 17

A verbal warning was issued for speed.

During a routine check, an open door was found at the laundry mat.

During a routine check, the bathroom doors were found open at Hubbard Park.

Suspicious activity was reported on the 200 block of Victoria Circle.

Feb. 18

A written warning was issued for no proof of insurance.

Two written warning were issued for curfew violations.

Suspicious activity was investigated in area in front of the library.

A verbal warning was issued for false reporting and disturbing the peace.

Agency assist to Pinal County Sheriff Office.

Extra patrol was requested on the 200 block of Essex.

A vacation house check was requested.

Feb. 19

Aaron Kent Goodridge, 31 of Kearny, was arrested for violating a court order. He was transported to Florence and booked into the Pinal County Adult Detention Center.

A 17-year-old female juvenile was arrested for domestic violence/attempted assault/criminal damage. She was transported to Florence and booked into the Pinal County Juvenile Detention Center.

Suspicious activity was reported on the 200 block of Fairhaven.

Three verbal warnings were issued for park curfew violations.

Feb. 20

During a routine check, a light was found on at the Southern Baptist Church. Doors and windows were checked and everything was secure.

During a routine check, a light was found on in a vacant residence on the 200 block of Victoria Circle. Everything was secure.

Report of cattle in area of Kearny Lake.

Extra patrol was requested.

Feb. 21

Suspicious activity was investigated at Ray High School.

Two reports were received of cattle on Old Hartford Rd.

Citizen assist on 400 block of Greenwich.

Other calls included eight ambulance runs and nine information reports.
