Kearny Police Report

According to state law, there are two methods by which police may arrest suspected offenders. The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Only criminal citations are listed. All damages are estimates.

Nov. 17

A juvenile problem was reported on the 200 block of Fairhaven

Following a report of a fight at Hubbard Park, a 15-year-old male juvenile was arrested for disorderly conduct and assault.

Nov. 18

Responded to an animal detail other than dog bite.

A written warning was issued for speed.

Nov. 19

A report was taken of threatening and intimidating on the 100 block of Griffin.

A written warning was issued for speed.

Nov. 20

An open door was reported on the 1200 block of Tilbury.

Two verbal warnings were issued for headlight violations.

Nov. 23

An open gate was reported at the Kearny Golf Course.

  Other calls included 10 ambulance runs and one information report
