According to state law, there are two methods by which police may arrest suspected offenders. The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. Two verbal warnings were issued for headlight violations.

An open gate was reported at the Kearny Golf Course.
