According to state law, there are two methods by which police may arrest suspected offenders. The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Only criminal citations are listed. All damages are estimates.

Aug. 24

A report of fraudulent schemes was taken.

Aug. 25

A non-injury accident was reported behind La Cantina.

Aug. 26

Steven Douglas King, 47 of Kearny, was arrested on a warrant out of Maricopa County Superior Court. He was transported to Florence and booked into the Pinal County Adult Detention Center.

Other calls included 11 ambulance runs; three information reports; three open door reports; one suspicious person/vehicle/circumstance report; four agency assists; one citizen assist; one 911 hang up; one civil standby; one animal detail other than dog bite; and one welfare check.

A written warning was issued for a stop sign violation; and three verbal warnings were given for headlight violations.
