According to state law, there are two methods by which police may arrest suspected offenders. The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Only criminal citations are listed. All damages are estimates.

June 15

A verbal warning was issued for a stop sign violation.

Extra patrol was requested on the 400 block of Essex.

A noise disturbance was reported on the 100 block of Hammond.

June 16

A verbal warning was issued for a stop sign violation.

A disturbance was reported on the 100 block of Griffen.

A domestic disturbance was reported on the 200 block of Jamestown Circle.

A verbal warning was issued for a license plate light violation.

June 17

A citation was issued for no current registration for a ATV.

A disturbance was reported on the 200 block of Jamestown Circle.

A fire was reported on the west side of the corral area. This fire spread quickly and evacuation orders were issued for the lower streets in town and Stephens Trailer Park. Animals in the corral area were also evacuated.

June 18

Extra patrol was requested on the 400 block of Danbury.

A brush fire was reported behind a residence on the 400 block of Jamestown.

June 20

Assault was reported on the 300 block of Croydon.

During the period of June 15 and June 21 there were 10 ambulance runs, one alarm drop and four information reports.
