According to state law, there are two methods by which police may arrest suspected offenders. The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Only criminal citations are listed. All damages are estimates.

Apr. 20

A written warning was issued for illegal U-turn on Alden Rd.

Richard Wade Bailey Jr., 30 of Kearny, was arrested on a warrant out of Kearny.

Fraudulent use of a bank card was reported on the 300 block of Essex.

Apr. 21

An accident without injuries was reported in the Buzzy’s parking lot.

Apr. 22

Fraudulent schemes was reported on the 600 block of Victoria Circle.

Apr. 23

A warning was issued for speed.

A warning was issued for reckless driving.

Apr. 24

Extra patrol was requested on the 400 block of Jamestown.

A written warning was issued for a license plate light violation.

Apr. 25

A verbal warning was issued for a tail light violation.

A suspicious vehicle was reported near the little league field.

A written warning was issued for a head light violation.

A written warning was issued for a license plate light violation.

Apr. 26

Alexis Ray Estrada, 21 of Kearny, was arrested for unlawful flight from law enforcement/speed. He was transported to Florence and booked into the Pinal County Adult Detention Center.

Apr. 27

Theft of a vehicle was reported on the 400 block of Jamestown.

Theft of a cell phone was reported on Alden Rd.

Apr. 28

Suspicious activity was reported on the 300 block of Greenwich.

Suspicious activity was reported on the 200 block of Hartford.

Apr. 29

Extra patrol was requested on the 200 block of Ivanhoe.

Extra patrol was requested on the 300 block of Essex.

May 1

Theft of prescription medication was reported on Alden Rd.

A verbal warning was issued for a license plate light violation.

May 2

Two verbal warnings were issued for speed.

A citation was issued for waste of finite resource.

May 3

Two citations were issued for waste for finite resource.

A welfare check was requested on the 300 block of Greenwich.

During the period of Apr. 20 to May 3 there were 18 ambulance runs, four alarm drops and 11 information reports.
