According to state law, there are two methods by which police may arrest suspected offenders. The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Only criminal citations are listed. All damages are estimates.

Apr. 6

Extra patrol was requested on the 400 block of Fairhaven.

Two verbal warnings were issued for illegal U-turn on Alden Rd.

A domestic disturbance was investigated at Breezeway Trailer Park.

Citizen assist with a civil standby on the 300 block of Hartford.

A verbal warning was issued for loud music.

A citation was issued for illegal residential parking.

Apr. 7

Extra patrol was requested on the 300 block of Essex.

A citation was issued for waste of finite resource.

Apr. 8

A domestic disturbance was reported on the 400 block of Jamestown.

Apr. 9

A citation was issued for noise disturbance (barking dog).

Apr. 10

A citation was issued for illegal residential parking.

Ericka Michelle Putman, 35 of Kearny, was arrested for driving with a suspended license/no proof of insurance/no proof of current registration.

A written warning was issued for a tail light violation.

A written warning for issued for an illegal stop violation.

Apr. 11

Robert A. Mancha, 32 of San Bernadino, Cal., was arrested for possession of marijuana. He was cited and released.

A citation was issued for speed.

A dog at large was reported on the 300 block of Fairhaven.

Extra patrol was requested on the 300 block of Danbury.

A verbal warning was issued for speed.

Apr. 14

A verbal warning was issued for speed.

A rattlesnake was reported at a residence on the 300 block of Croyden. Upon further investigation it was determined to be a bull snake.

Extra patrol was requested on the 200 block of Greenwich.

Suspicious activity was investigated on Tilbury Rd.

A verbal warning was issued for a headlight violation.

A citation was issued for driving with a suspended license plate/no proof of insurance/no proof of registration.

A written warning was issued for a license plate light violation.

Apr. 16

Extra patrol was requested on the 400 block of Fairhaven.

Extra patrol was requested on the 300 block of Hartford.

A citation was issued for barking dogs in excess.

Apr. 18

A citation was issued for no valid drivers license.

Two citations were issued for speed.

Agency assist to Hayden Police Department with keys locked in a vehicle.

Agency assist to DPS with a report of a stalled vehicle on Hwy 177.

A noise disturbance was reported on Alden Rd.

Apr. 19

Aggravated domestic violence was reported on the 300 block of Greenwich.

A family dispute was reported on the 200 block of Greenwich.

A non-injury accident was reported on the 400 block of Jamestown.

A domestic dispute was reported on the 600 block of York Dr.

Juan Soqui, 47 of Kearny, was arrested on a warrant out of the Mammoth/San Manuel J.P. Court. He was transported to Florence and booked into the Pinal County Adult Detention Center.

During the period of Mar. 31 to Apr. 19 there were 15 ambulance runs, one alarm drop and one information report.
