According to state law, there are two methods by which police may arrest suspected offenders. The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. Extra patrol was requested on the 200 block of Fairhaven.
A report was received of a missing child. The child was later located.
Dec. 14
A vehicle was reported parked on the side of the road near Industrial and Beauford with windows down and key in the ignition.
Other calls included 11 ambulance runs and four information reports.
