Kearny Police Report

According to state law, there are two methods by which police may arrest suspected offenders. The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Only criminal citations are listed. All damages are estimates.

July 7

Citizen assist with a fingerprinting request.

July 9

Suspicious activity was reported on Victoria Circle.

Theft was reported at Family Dollar.

Extra patrol was requested on the 200 block of Essex.

July 12

Suspicious activity was reported on the 300 block of Hartford.

Citizen assist with traffic control on Upton and Hwy 177.

Roberto Camacho Jr., 45 of Oracle, was arrested for reckless driving.

During the period of July 7 to July 13, there were nine ambulance runs, six information reports and one alarm drop.
