According to state law, there are two methods by which police may arrest suspected offenders. The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Only criminal citations are listed. All damages are estimates.

Nov. 9

A non-injury accident was reported at the Ray High School parking lot.

A welfare check was requested on the 400 block of Fairhaven

Nov. 10

Agency assist to Hayden Police Department with a vehicle pursuit in Hayden.

Agency assist to Pinal County Sheriff’s Office concerning a report of cattle close to the roadway near Club Royal.

A welfare check for requested on the 300 block of Essex.

A verbal warning was issued for a license plate and taillight violations and no mud flaps.

Nov. 11

A welfare check was requested on the 300 block of Greenwich.

Criminal damage/vandalism was reported at the Kearny Cemetery. Trees were uprooted, a swing was damaged and a plaster statue had been shattered at a gravesite.

A verbal warning was issued.

Nov. 12

A citizen assist was requested on the 300 block of Greenwich.

A citizen assist was requested on the 300 block of Danbury.

Theft was reported on the 1200 block of Industrial Rd.

Nov. 13

Citizen assist requested from a caller in San Manuel.

A verbal warning was issued for a seat belt violation.

Nov. 14

Citizen assist for a request with fingerprinting.

A verbal warning was issued for a stop sign violation.

Nov. 15

Extra patrol was requested on the 300 block of Essex.

A rattlesnake was reported on the back porch of a residence on the 100 block of Jamestown.

A cell phone was reported stolen while owner was at Hubbard Park.

Alexis Ray Estrada, 19 of Kearny, was arrested on a warrant. He was booked into Gila County Jail.

Six written warnings were issued for city park curfew violations and town curfew violations.
