Kearny Police Chief Wallace Kenney with two new vehicles for the Kearny Police fleet.

The Kearny Town Council announced last week that it was able to purchase two patrol vehicles for the Kearny Police Department on a lease-purchase agreement.  The Town of Kearny was in great need of patrol vehicles.

Chief Wallace Kenney has been working hard to update the Kearny Police Department.  Under his leadership, the police department has been able to obtain vehicles and equipment from the military surplus program, which is free of charge to the department.  He has also been able to have the police department policies and procedures completed.
