Kearny Little League hosts championship games

Kearny Little League hosted two District 11 Championship games on Thursday, July 3, 2014. The 9/10 Division and 11/12 Division District Championships were decided with the winners advancing the Arizona State Little League Tournaments.

Pinal Mountain won the 9/10 Division Championship and Mt. Graham won the 11/12 Division Championship. Mt. Graham defeated Morenci 16 – 1 to advance to the state tournament.

The 2014 Arizona Little League Baseball State Tournaments begin July 14. The 9/10 Division tournament will be played in Tempe and the 11/12 Division tournament will take place in Peoria.

After a short return to Des Plaines in 1997, he returned to the Phoenix area two years later. He and his wife, Kelli, have three sons – AJ, Kyle, and Kade.
