Kearny girl named champion at Elks Hoop Shoot Contest

On Saturday, Feb. 8, the Arizona Elks Association held their annual state basketball Hoop Shoot Contest in Apache Junction. Kearny Elks is proud to announce their local winner, Myranda Figueroa the champion in the 12 and 13-year-old girls in the state contest. Myranda will advance on to the regional contest to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, Feb. 22. Myranda, right, is pictured with her proud mom, Rebecca.
