Kearny church offers ‘Field of Dreams’ for 2020 grads

The Church of the Good Shepherd is encouraging residents to plant signs in the ‘Field of Dreams’ for this year’s graduates.

In the parsonage for Church of the Good Shepherd UMC (Good Shepherd), good things are planted and beauty is expected to bloom. This year, a corner of the lot is being transformed into a field of dreams, dedicated to displaying well-wishes for the graduating class of 2020 on signs which will “sprout” amidst the blooming field of flowers.

The people of Good Shepherd stated, “The field has been planted with wildflowers, and we pray that just like the humble seeds we have sown, our graduates, too, will grow and blossom.”

If you want to add your own well wishes, make a waterproof sign, grab a stake for it and post it in the field, wherever a free space is available.

The Field of Dreams will be in the yard of the parsonage at 223 Essex in Kearny, corner of Upton and Essex.
