Representatives from Kearny and Hayden Little Leagues worked together to renew the tradition of a 4th of July game between the two leagues. According to the Kearny Little League Facebook page, there were several requests for a renewal of the traditional July 4th game and the leagues “were able to make it happen.”

Those who attended the game last Friday were not only witnessed an exciting game, but also celebrated Independence Day with a postgame fireworks show.

As far as the game, Kearny defeated Hayden, 5 – 3.
