Junior Bearcats to hold scrimmage

By Andrew Luberda

Copper Basin News

According to Ray Jr. High boys’ basketball coach Ramon Rubalcaba, both the boys’ and girls’ basketball teams will hold a “Food Can Drive Scrimmage” on Monday, November 25, 2013. The scrimmage is tentatively scheduled to being at 4:00 p.m. and will end at approximately 5:45 p.m. The teams are requesting a can of food be donated for admission to the scrimmage. While a donation will be appreciated, it is not mandatory for admission.

The purpose of the scrimmage is to allow the players the chance to get used to playing conditions in a game-type atmosphere. Players will be rotated in-and-out and play for four minutes at a time.

Please contact the school directly to confirm the scrimmage date and time as it is subject to change.
